Collagerator

If you want to share your photos with your friends, you could make it easier to sift through them if you create a collage. You can use almost any image editor for this operation, but it can be done much easier with a specialized application, such as Collagerator, which is designed specifically for picture collages. Its straightforward functionality allows you to create impressive collages, with minimum effort. The application is offered completely free of charge, for Mac OS X and Windows.

When you launch Collagerator, the application will display a welcome screen, with options for starting a new project or opening an existing one. You can also find a list of recent projects on the same window and open them immediately if you need to. The application comes with a series of templates, which are presented when you start a new project. Once you select a template, the main user interface will show up on your screen.

Creating a collage is quite easy. All you have to do is import your pictures and arrange them on a blank page. Images can be moved, rotated and resized freely, just by clicking and dragging. The imported pictures are also displayed in a column, on the right side of the interface, so if you remove a picture from the collage, you can always put it back in without any effort.

The images list can be swapped with a set of useful options. They allow you to enable shadows and adjust their width, auto-arrange the images on the page, enable frames and customize the background. The options are neatly organized and they are very easy to understand.
